As an experienced teacher and leader in education, transformative professional learning was always significant to me.
As I have observed the world change over the last decade, the immense pressure building on professionals in education, I see great educators leaving as a consequence. You know why.
Something has got to change. For us at
Tātai Hono Consulting the change is in Professional Development.
We can learn more about subjects, behaviour management, curriculum change, learning needs (which is important), AND we want you to learn about the one constant in ALL of that - YOU!
We already know you are great at your role. You are still in it.
We already know you work yourself to burn out for your people. You keep bouncing back though.
We already know you are passionate about your students/colleagues and your whanau. You sometimes wonder where you get the energy to keep up with it all!
The change we want to see is in educators who know themselves so intimately that they continue to flourish as educators, while sharpening up on their effectiveness, leading lightly and elevating their community.

Details of participation:

This is a six month haerenga with a roopu of passionate educators.

You begin with a 60 minute one to one with Rochelle to establish your aspirations, wawata, and goals. You will also learn about your default.

Two one day wananga - one near the beginning and one toward the end. These are local, in person and with the roopu you will travel along with. If you are choosing our Tahiti harenga your second wananga will be week long in Tahiti.

An online course for your development. This is optional but rich in matauranga. Practical. Short ten minute korero to get you thinking and then implementing potent and necessary activities.

Twice weekly mentoring and coaching - woah that seems alot right? It’s optional too. Rochelle your coach shows up at every session online and if you show up too, you get stuck into live coaching and mentoring. The more you show up, the greater your return on investment.
Our goal is your transformation - unrecognisable transformation in your education leadership. It is not a haerenga for everyone. It is of indescribable value.
